Jackie + Matt: Engaged!

October 29th, 2011- Jackie and Matt are one of my cutie-patootie couples getting married in 2012! (OMGee...can you believe 2011 is coming to a close soon?) We started out at the Fox Theater, because Jackie had a really neat photo of her grandparents taken in the same place!

We moved over to Forest Park where we grabbed a couple of dreamily-lit photos before the sun went behind a giant, dark cloud!

Katie and Matt: Engaged!

Katie and Matt will be getting married next May 21st! Katie booked me via the internet earlier this year, so I was excited to finally meet them! We met up in Tower Grove park on another gorgeous fall day. I've been complaining this whole season about the lack of fall color/feeling...but I really felt the fall in this session!

There is just something about the color in this one that I LOVE!

Grabbed this one as we were heading back to our cars...the light makes me happy :)

Katie and Ryan: Engaged!

Hey blog readers! You all are going to get to see LOTS of images this week! I had 3 engagement sessions this weekend, and I have a family session tomorrow...and next weekend I'm back to the crazy wedding schedule! It's going to get pretty lively around here :)

First up on the blog this week is Katie and Ryan. Katie is my former "student intern" at my old job...and then she took the job over when I left for my current position! She and Ryan were recently engaged and are getting married next October. Oh and they just bought their first house together! How exciting to be newly engaged, newly homeowners...with a whole married life ahead of them :)

We started out at Tower Grover Park bright and early!

Some of the pavilions just got a fresh paint job :)

PS I just bought this same top in ivory from anthropologie...isn't it so cute?

After Tower Grove, our plan was to go to the arch...but lordy was downtown crowded. No parking, so change of venue...headed over to SLU, which is where Katie went to grad school (and so did I, by the way!) It's just amazingly beautiful there in the spring and I've always wanted to shoot there.

Kelly and Jay's Wedding; Part One

What a wonderful weekend for a wedding! Kelly and Jay were married at St. Margaret of Scotland Church near Tower Grove Park. It was gorgeous! I usually have more of a rhyme and reason to my blog organization of wedding day photos, but I've had such an exhausting weekend I decided to just pick a few initial favorites for today!
