New Blog Feature: Show me those DETAILS!

So it's still down season here (sucky St. Louis winter), so I decided to try something new on the blog. As a photographer, I get very excited when my brides include FUN details on their wedding day. Details give your wedding photos that extra "oomph".

My first installment of "Show me those Details" will feature shoes. HOT, SEXY, "I'm the Bride and it's MY day" kind of shoes. When I think back to the boring, dyeable white strappy sandals from my wedding day, I kick myself for not having cooler shoes. Here are some wedding day shoes that will make your photographer (and maybe even your husband) drool...

We'll start off with some white, NOT-so-Standard heels from Stuart Weitzman "Pomposo"

Yes, I realize these are all some HIGH heels. I'm a high heel kind of girl! But I've seen plenty of not-so-high heeled shoes also. Just do what makes you feel good! What will YOUR wedding shoes look like, 2010 brides?

Kaitlyn: 6 months!

My dear niece Kaitlyn turns 6 months next week, so while I was home for my dad's birthday fiesta we did a quick photo shoot. She gets cuter and cuter every time I see her, and it makes me sad that I don't get to see her more often!

The weather was dreary but got up to about 50 degrees...so we ventured outside...

Big Baby Bow!!

Wahoo! Sitting up! This is just a second before she toppled over...

Sitting up got hard, so we resorted to a boppy chair...

And then near the end, we decided to try a swing. Kaitlyn LOVES her baby swing at home and often sleeps in it for hours! She did NOT feel the same way about the park swing. Most of the time she looked petrified...

Lucas: Announcement!

Hopefully Anna has had enough time to get her announcements sent out....these are the ones I created for her with our godson Lucas :) He's so darn handsome!
