So happy to finally bring you this blog post! I put up a teaser last week, and so much has been going on with business and life in general that I'm just now finishing up the rest! These two had one of my favorite engagement sessions of 2009, and I believe that Ashley may have been the first one to book me for 2010! After meeting her a few times, I expected her to be nothing short of stunning on her wedding day, and wow, she definitely was!
Thanks to my 2nd shooter for the day, Joanna Kleine, for all of her help!
Charles Glen (who you may recognize if you've been to a Blues game) sang the ceremony music. He was great!
Yo Herbie, and/or Michael. Whatever you prefer.
Joanna caught some beautiful moments of Ashley and her dad before they headed down the aisle.

After a fabulous lunch at the home of the Miesners, we headed over to Creve Coeur Park. I shoot there quite a bit, but it's a highly under-utilized spot!
You can rent these little buggies to ride around the park...so the bridal party accosted a poor couple and asked if we could borrow one!
For these next shots, I couldn't get wide enough with my 35mm 1.4...so I grabbed Joanna's 16-35 and got possibly my fave shots of the day!
Off to the Sheraton Westport Chalet for the reception! The pumpkin centerpieces were great!
To Ashley and Herbie, thank you for a fantastic fall-wedding day! I hope it was everything you dreamed of!

Beautiful! I love the wide shots of them in front of the lake, but I really like the one of them kissing outside of the church - the way her skirt just barely touches the pavement. sorta dreamy :)
I can't even decide which photo I want to comment on...they are all perfect. What a gorgeous bride!!!
Loved the buggy shots! Looked like something out of a magazine. Oh, and loved all the others too! Ashley, you are stunning!
