Last weekend I shot the wedding of Amy and Brad on a hot September day! Amy was referred to me by our friend Alissa, who also referred Alison and Adam to me (Alissa, I owe you!)
**EDIT** I was very tired when I posted this last night, and totally forgot to thank my 2nd shooter, Jennifer Crowe, of Cobblestone Road Photography, for helping me out that day. Thanks!
We spent the entire day in St. Charles, starting with the ceremony at St. Cletus Catholic Church.
Amy and her flowers looked so pretty!
After the ceremony, we headed out for some fun portraits of Amy, Brad, and their friends...
The flowers looked great with the bridesmaids' dresses!
I just love this wall...
I always think it's so sweet when a groom helps his bride carry her train :)
Below you can see one of the jewels in Amy's bouquet...which as actually a piece of jewelry from one of her grandmothers. The other you can see on the stems in the first photo of the post!
I think this one is my favorite!
And I really like this one too...
At the reception, they had cupcakes instead of a traditional cake. I love cupcakes!
Amy told me she managed to keep her tears under wraps all day until her dad gave his speech :) It was a good one!
Rings + Cupcake...
And a sweet first dance...
Enjoy being newlyweds!
