Megan and Travis: The Big Day!

Sooo...I think this may be my longest blog post to date (Sorry to my husband, who is sitting here patiently waiting for me to get ready for dinner!) I just couldn't stop choosing favorites from Megan and Travis' wedding this weekend! As mentioned before, they were married at the Hermann Hill Village. I love venues where you can get married and have the reception without people needing to travel between locations. My husband and I did the very same thing back in Ohio!

The following photos will give you a brief glimpse into their day...and a slideshow will follow later this week!

Here's Megan checking out her hair for the first time...I heard lots of "Barbie" and Jessica Simpson references :)
Beautiful dress by Casablanca...

This guy was making great faces all through the ceremony...

I will admit this was a difficult lighting situation for me! The light was VERY bright coming in through the windows. I had to try lots of different techniques to get the photos exposed correctly. I just love this with the sunflare!

Mr. and Mrs. Jones!

Travis and his guys...

The girls with their custom made clutches by Etsy seller "graceybags".
Beautiful green eyes! Also a good shot of Megan's bolero, also purchased on Etsy.

We had very limited time to get bride/groom portraits after the ceremony...luckily this purple wall resides right on the main street though Hermann :)

Hot!!!

Mother/Son, Father/Daughter Dances....

We grabbed the next two shots right before sunset...this first shot is Brigid's view....

And here's my view!

Thanks again to Megan and Travis, who booked me a long time ago when I first started accepting weddings on my own! You had a beautiful wedding and I hope you enjoy your images!
Also thanks to my second shooter Brigid! I had so much fun!

Nice Sunflare shot during the ceremony! When I saw where they were standing my first thought was "whoa! Tough lighting!" ;) But you did awesome. :)

These are beautiful. I love the sun-filled ceremony shot. Very different from the usual. And the images of the bride and groom in the old doorway are gorgeous! Great work!

Beautiful photos! Do you happen to know where the Bride got her bridesmaid dresses? I been searching for that style and can't find it. I would really appreciate it!
