Erin + John: Married!

Erin and John were married in Columbia, MO last weekend at the historic Tiger Hotel! The Tiger is a neat old building that they are currently renovating to be used as a hotel once again (which will be amazing considering the only other downtown hotel, the Regency, is NOT somewhere you'd want to stay!) These two were surrounded by friends and family and had just a lovely day to get married :)

Starting with some details...loved the waistband of Erin's dress!
Bride and Groom getting their finishing touches...

A lot of times, the "first look" photos are some of my favorites...

You'll notice a lot of b+w photos from this day...the Tiger was making me feel a big old-fashioned :)

We headed over to campus to do some bridal party shots...

...and got really lucky with some puffy clouds and pretty blue skies...

Do you ever wonder what the bride and groom are saying to each other when you are out of earshot? me too :)

Love!

The ceremony lighting was a bit tough with the giant windows behind the bride and groom...but it was cool and dramatic at the same time...

Then we got to go up on the rooftop! Some backstory...the elevator was broken, so we hoofed it up 9 stories to the top. Talk about troopers.

The light was worth it...

And we had to get some shots with the giant Tiger sign! Look for it next time you're in Columbia!

This next shot is kind of fun/funky. I stitched together a panorama...I would have liked to place Erin and John in front of Jesse Hall, but the light was coming in really oddly. So I liked the placement of them in the corner with the rest of Columbia behind them. Then my hubs told me the shot was worthless without the columns...so hence the panorama :) I think it looks cool and 3d with the slight bend in the horizon...

Some details from the day...

Erin's sisters looked on for the entertaining toast from their father...

Lastly, a shot with the happy couple and their friends from the Marching Mizzou!
Have a good weekend everyone!

I've never seen photos from a ceremony at the Tiger Hotel. What a great set up they have there.

Your husband is right – the pano makes the shot! I hope they have it printed LARGE!
